Who saw a ghost? Not me but I did see TAPS!

I was walking down the street today and what did I see? First I saw a girl carrying a case with TAPS on it. Yes, the Ghosthunters TAPS! Then I saw the van. If you watch the show you know what I'm talking about, the TAPS van. I got pretty excited. How freaking cool is that? Very, very cool. So I kept going down the street and Jay came out! He talked to me for a second which he didn't have to do. That completely made my day. So cool, I'm so excited.

A nice way to end practice

Everett, Amelie and Olivia had soccer practice tonight. They all did great but it was damn humid so the kids were hot, hot, hot! Amelie asked for ice cream which is pretty normal because the girl asks for ice cream every day. Well today it sounded like a great idea so after practice we went for some nice cold tasty ice cream. So soccer practice ended at the bottom of a mint oreo blaster. Yeah, a great end to practice.

5 bears, a monkey & a crow

Everett got this great picture of five colorful bears from my parents for his birthday. When I put him to bed he always says something about it. He loves it so much I figured he needed another picture in his room. I just happened to have this Sock Monkey picture. I put it up today and showed him. He looked at it and said "That's the same monkey from Mary's fridge." I had no clue what he was saying until I remembered I put a sock monkey magnet on my mom's fridge years ago. Way to go Everett for noticing that.

Lego Lego!!

Olivia got a Lego set from my mom for her birthday. She really wanted it and was super excited to start it.  Tonight she took the first step in getting Lego Olivia's house together. She did the whole thing on her own which made her happy. So, one room down and the rest of her house to go.

Soccer starts tonight!

Tonight is Amelie and Everett's first practice of the season. They got these awesome shoes the other day. They are freaking awesome to the max...extreme!

Birthday party!

Today was Everett's and Olivia's birthday party. Everett's birthday is in August but we did a combo party. Our family came over. We had food, gifts and cake. It was total birthday party. Yes, total party.

Olivia had her friend birthday party today. All the kids had fun and I got to sneak a cupcake or two. A win for everyone!
