A quick trip to urgent care, a little glue, no stitches, and a Wendy's run. Everett was as good as new. A little bandaid but a happy kid.

It was a beautiful Spring day today

January 29th and it's 60+ degrees. Horrible! Hopefully we get some snow tomorrow. 

This is about as much snow as we've had all year.

I got these at the store today. They had a huge Pom-Bar section. Did I miss something? What's original flavor? Is it little puffy white/yellow bears? Are these a thing now? Honestly, I'm frightened. I'll give em to the kids tomorrow and see what happens.

Comedy Night!

Saturday night was the kids school fundraiser comedy night. The company was great. The comedy was.....the company was great. The best part of comedy night was this, sunflower awesomeness.

Oh yeah, there was a hockey game too. The Blackhawks first home game of the season had the Hawks battling the Blues. A really good game between two good teams. The Hawks won 3-2 and the everybody went home happy....well, not the Blues. So the Hawks are 3-0 and on a roll. Lets hope they keep it up. Every point is important in a 48 game season. Next up is Dallas on Thursday.

It's damn good to have hockey back. It seems like its been forever. No matter how pissed I was, once they laced up the skates I was ready to go. Good first game for the Hawks. I'd like to see them keep it up and blast the Yotes tomorrow night.

I've been thinking about getting back to my gaming roots and either of these games are perfect. I just can't decide which one to play. Uggh, I'm gonna go back and forth on this.

Hello Sunday

From bedroom to playroom

Everybody pitched in today and we turned Ian's old bedroom into the new big kids playroom. What makes this playroom a big kids playroom? Pretty much the Wii and barbies, the girls are older. It felt good to get a major project mostly done. I'm happy Karen, Mrs. 04, picked a great color for the room. I'm happy my mom and dad came by and helped get shelves in the closets and paint on the walls. Tomorrow the kids will be happy to play in their new playroom.
