Hey look, it's Winnipeg

Back at the United Center to see the Blackhawks take on the Winnipeg Jets. Sounds right, doesn't it?

Had some Jets fans in front of me. They were pretty excited but I'd be too if my team came back from the dead.

I swear this was the exact moment Hossa scored the third goal of the game. I was just taking a picture for the hell of it. I click the button and at that exact moment heard the goal horn. You can even see people starting to react. Yeah for good timing!

It was really cool to see the Jets name back on the scoreboard. It was even cooler to see the Hawks win. Lets Go Hawks!

A pumpkin and a ghost

Amelie went on a field trip today to a pumpkin patch. Of course she had a great time. She brought up home a wonderfully painted pumpkin and she made quite the scary ghost. Good job Amelie, Ambo, The face of Am-Bo or whatever else we call her. Sorry if the picture is a bit dark. I had to sneak into their room tonight to take this picture. I must be a super spy with cat like reflexes because they didn't wake up.

Carnival Carnival!

The last week or so we have been taking the kids all over the place, Hawks games, Little Red School House, pumpkin farms. The kids have been having a blast. Yesterday we took them to a local carnival. There wasn't much to it and it really wasn't crowded but that made it perfect. Not once did they have to wait in line. It was like having your own private carnival. So much fun was had and so many rides were rode. I really hope that last sentence is grammatically correct......I know it's not. Oh well. Here's some pics, enjoy them while I go feel shame for that sentence.

First win of the year for the Vikes

It was nice to see the Vikings completely dominate the Cardinals today. I'm not sure how often it's gonna happen this year but it was nice today. Good Job Vikes! Skol Vikings!

Hawks Win! Hawks Win!

Last night was the home opener for my Chicago Blackhawks. A great night was had by all 21k + at the United Center watching the Hawks crush the Dallas Stars 5-2.

The first time I sat in my seat for the year with my first Committed Indian.
