Secret TMBG Show!

 I know, I know, it's been a while. I can almost hear you guys all milling around asking "Where's the picture of the day?" Well, I'm sorry. I was battling White Puma in the Doritos Mountains. You know, just south of the Great Lake Hair Gel. 

Well, that's a story for another day. Today I wanna talk about an evening with They Might be Giants. A couple weeks ago me and the missus went out for some John and John fun. The show was fantastic. I loved everything from Man it's So Loud in Here to Ana Ng. It was a very fun night. Thank you John and to an even greater extent, John.

 

They Might Be Retweeting Me

So today John Flansburgh retweeted me. Yes, I know I should not be as excited as I am. I really don't care all that much about celebrities. I don't really follow any on twitter. But TMBG are my exception. Flans does talk a bit on twitter and it's usually entertaining. Every once in a while I'll say something back to a tweet. Today's not the first time he's responded but it's the first time I got a retweet. Again, I'm a dork and I know I shouldn't be excited but I am. So cool.

They Might Be The Doctor?

They Might be Giants, specifically John Linnell and Doctor Who.............................Ok, yes I did just faint but it's because I just thought I saw a picture of John Linnell, The Doctor and Amy Pond. So wait, you're telling me I did see that? Oh, well th...........................................Yep, fainted again. This picture represents two major nerd worlds colliding and I'm not sure I can stand it.

I really had a good time at the TMBG concert even though this was the 10th time I've seen them live. They always put on a fantastic show. Here's a couple pictures from the TMBG show.
