Fun! Fun! Fun!

Yesterday was trivia night with some friends. There was pizza, cupcakes and even a little trivia. While we were so very far from the top, we didn't finish last. That is most definitely a win.

M&M Dark Chocolate Mint

Every once in a while I notice a candy I haven't seen before. Most of the time I have no interest, there is a lot of terrible candy ideas. What were you thinking kinda terrible ideas. But today I saw these, M&M Dark Chocolate Mint. They are absolutely minty chocolate goodness. They brought be back to the 80's and M&M Royals, remember those? I recommend picking up a pack and enjoying their cool minty M&M-ness.

A funny little orange and not so cool white puma

I found this on my desk this morning. Uhhhh, this definitely rocked my face off. So what happened is my best ever secretary who moonlights as a zombie killing ninja party god left me an orange. Oranges are cool, I like oranges. As a side note, White Pumas are not cool. Not even close. Take that White Puma.

*For those keeping track. This is the first appearance of White Puma on my blog. I'm pretty sure it will not be the last. Maybe one day we may even see the White Puma but no promises, he is elusive.

Oh shit, awesome!

My brother is getting married today so last night was the church practice and rehearsal dinner. After dinner my brother gave me a gift for being the best man. I was shocked and crazy train excited about what he got me. Yup, a hockey jersey.

In case you didn't know, I love hockey, hockey jerseys and all things hockey. I probably have close to 30 jerseys. I like collecting jerseys, especially weird minor league ones. As a Blackhawks fan I love Andrew Ladd. Always will just because he was a part of the Stanley Cup team. I've been wanting a Jets jersey. I liked the design from the second I saw it. So now this one is my new baby. I'm so excited.
Now to get ready for the Wedding. Exciting day!

After

It's done. I cut my hair. Here's the after picture. Lucky for me my hair grows like a weed so it won't be long before I'm back to looking like a hobo.

Before

This weekend my brother is getting married and I'm his best man. So I'm getting my haircut tonight so that I don't look like a hobo at the wedding. This is my before shot. Tomorrow I'll post the after shot. How short will I cut it? Check back tomorrow to find out.

The Return of Foil Boy

Foil Boy has come home! People, all of you reading this, have no clue how happy I am. My baby has returned. He came back with longer hair, a hat and goggles but he's back!

I know you are wondering. Who is foil boy? Well let me tell you. A long time ago in an office that feels so far away, evil appeared. This evil threatened to destroy the office's peaceful way of life. The evil had a name and it was Scott. We knew Scott was evil because he had a goatee. That was pretty much it. Other than the goatee Scott was pretty cool and mellow but there was no denying the evil that was the goatee. So a ragtag group of rebels led the charge on a strike against Scott while he was on vacation. The rebels drove to Jewel-Osco and bought a shitload of foil. Over a four hour period all the foil was put up in Scott's office. Walls were covered from ceiling to floor. Chairs, coat racks, coats, business card holders, business cards, desks, pens....everything, and I mean everything was covered in foil. When finished Scott's office was ten degrees hotter than the rest of the office and caused instant vertigo. The rebels were pleased.

Scott's goatee came back to work to be vanquished by the rebels awesome display of foil application. All rejoiced while Scott collected the foil off the floor, ceiling and everywhere else. Scott used that foil to mold a foil man. As we stood there a bolt of lightning hit the foil man throwing it into the corner. We all soon realized what had happened. Foil Boy was born! After that it's pretty simple. Foil Boy stayed with Scott until he left the office. At that point custody of Foil Boy was given to me but Michelle stole him from me. It's not so important who Michelle is, it's more important that we all know she stole....kidnapped Foil Boy. But in Foil Boy's best interest I decided to let him stay with Michelle as he seemed happy.

So that's the completely accurate and true story of Foil Boy as best I can remember it. But today, Foil Boy has come home. He began life as a prank in my hands and not he's come back to me. A truly great day. I love you Foil Boy.

Hawks beat Caps!

I went to the Hawks game last night and watched the Blackhawks dominate the Capitols for most of the night. A solid game for the Hawks as every point is crucial at this time of year. But the Blackhawks win was not the story of the night.

Last night my lovely wife went to the game with me. I don't think she's been to a game in 5-6 years. She's never been to a game in my seats. We used to go to Chicago Wolves games all the time. Karen knows the game of hockey better than most of the guys at the United Center so it was fun having her at my side. We watched the Hawks win, ate nachos and had a great night.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

The house elves were having fun with my kids today turning breakfast green for St. Patty's Day. There was much screaming and laughing when the kids saw breakfast.
